What is a Sectional Garage door?
In residential applications they are typically made up of 4 or 5 large horizontal sections linked together, these are then pulled up on a rail (track) over head and supported in the air with the frame. These are considered to be a premium solution in the mass market.
Sectionals offer the highest insulation properties and enable the maximum outside space saving, due to the vertical lift there is no need to move the car every time you wish to open. Whilst there is a requirement for ample head room in the raised position it is still possible to use the inside walls right up to the door.
Manually operated Sectionals can be heavy so are balanced with springs, but at Blueberry Automation all doors come with ONE-Touch fully remote-controlled motorisation.
Paired with the latest anti crush & entrapment safety systems, motor brakes, overrides and testing, we are able to achieve the very highest CE European/BS compliance. Quality assured to ISO 9001:2015. A, comprehensive 5-year warranty, LPCB Insurance approved.
